High Jinks

I was very fortunate to be able to attend a photographers workshop last weekend with the amazing Barb Uil. Barb is one of Australia's best child photographers her work is incredible. Barb not only is an amazing creative talent but also an extremely savvy business woman, the workshop was full of creative tips on how to improve the way you shoot but also on how to run and manage a photography business. The knowledge she generously imparted was invaluable and to be able to watch Barb shoot was inspirational.

What I took away from the weekend was the confidence to follow my passion & develop my own unique style and  believe in myself and value what I do. If you are thinking of doing one of Barbs workshops I would say don't hesitate it is well worth it. You will be motivated and inspired on a personal and artist level to become so much better at what you do. To find your own creative path and confidence to follow it. You will leave the retreat with far more than you could anticipate.

My post is a homage to Barb's work I tried to put into practice some of what I learnt over the weekend. Thanks Barb and Simon for a wonderful experience I hope to see you both again. SX
