Tasmania - Part 4.

It was amazing to visit my friends Amy's home yesterday and discover her hidden talent, interior design. 

I first met Amy on the first day of my daughter's school life, she was to be Esther's kindergarten teacher. It was also was Amy's first day as a teacher so everyone was a little nervous. But for Esther it was love at first sight and her Kindergarten year at school was full of fun and lots of learning. Amy's beautiful nature and love of teaching made that first year at school a very special one for us.

 Amy since has stopped teaching for a while to take care of her beautiful baby Sophia. Sophia is Amy's first child and all the creativity she channeled into her classroom she now has focused into decorating her beautiful home and especially Sophia's nursery. It is simply beautiful the perfect little girls room. Amy's not sure when she will go back to teaching with the commitments as a parent being more than a full time job at the moment. But if she chooses not too I am certain there is a career in interior design not far on the horizon.

We are home from what was a wonderful week in Tasmania. So much to see and do a week was really not long enough. The weather was amazing warm with blue skies, we managed to miss all the Easter Sydney rain, yeah!  We ate the freshest seafood and apples picked that day, fresh from the orchards bought from the side of the road ($1.50 kilo)
