Bill's Everyday Asia

Look what arrived in the post today!! My copy of Bill Granger's new cook book "Bill's Everyday Asia" It was this time last year I worked on the photography production and merchandising of this gorgeous cook book. It was a pleasure to work on, not only because Bill is one of the nicest people you will every meet but also because I had the opportunity to watch Mikkel Vang work. Mikkel is the most amazing food and lifestyle photographer and watching him work was a great experience.

But I have to say the highlight was working closely with Erika Oliveira. Erika is a Creative Director & Art director from New York and she has the most amazing eye. Her ability to style is beyond incredible, she could make the most basic props and a plastic table cloth look like art. She just has something that very few people have an intangible sixth sense that you are just born with, something that you cannot learn you just have. Watching Erika shuffle props on a table top to create the most stunning set ups was in no doubt a one in a life time experience.
